TEGUCIGLPA, Honduras – Honduras head coach Jorge Luis Pinto named Friday a 26-man roster for the first two matches in the final round of CONCACAF qualifying for the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

The Catrachos will host both encounters at the Estadio Olimpico Metropolitano in San Pedro Sula, facing Panama on November 11, before meeting Trinidad & Tobago four days later.

Olimpia star Romell Quioto highlights a squad that features 16 domestic-based competitors.  With two goals, the 25-year-old midfielder is Honduras’ top scorer in the current qualifying cycle.  He has also netted seven times in 2016 Honduran Apertura play -- tying him for sixth on the goal chart – and twice during the 2016/17 Scotiabank CONCACAF Champions League’s group stage.

Also earning a call-up was defender Maynor Figueroa, who has helped FC Dallas to a berth in the SCCL quarterfinals, a U.S. Open Cup title and the best regular-season MLS record.

Platense’s Roby Norales, the Honduran league’s top scorer with 10 goals, will be looking to make his first-ever appearance in a World Cup qualifier.
